Guam Parkour. Welcome to Guam's first parkour assembly. GuamPK.com's purpose is to provide parkour awareness to Guam. It's a positive activity for anyone and everyone. As new as parkour is to our tiny island, parkour is growing and its growing fast ! Come and enjoy your ability to move !

Unlike other large city developments, here on Guam we are, thankfully, limited to the amount of urban obstacles to practice parkour. But that doesn't hold Guam traceurs and traceuses back. Our beautiful island will force us to adapt to natural obstacles that are yet to be discovered.

What exactly is "Parkour"?

Parkour is basically the art of natural human mobility; movement. It is also know as PK. The first person to incorporate parkour as a discipline of practice is David Belle. Parkour focuses on practicing efficient movement to develop the mind and body to be able to overcome obstacles in any given environment: branches, rocks, rails, concrete walls. It can be practiced in both rural and urban areas.

Definition: Parkour is the activity of moving from one point to another as efficiently and quickly as possible, using only the abilities of the human body. Parkour practitioners are known as traceurs (males) or traceuses (females).

 Who can practice parkour ?:

- Anyone can practice parkour. Parkour has no set limits or standards, its about freedom of movement and learning to use your God given natural human mobility. Every practitioner starts with conditioning; build your body and your mind first. And thats exactly what the Guam Parkour Association is trying to promote.

How can I get involved with parkour ?:

- The Guam parkour crew holds an introductory class every Thursday from 730PM to 830PM at the Guam Islands Twisters Gym. There is a gym fee of $10 per session and you will have to sign a liability waiver, of course, to use the gym. If time permits, in our daily lives; our group will get together and "enjoy our ability to move" outdoors.
