Training - Cat Techniques

Skill level: Beginner - Intermediate
Parking is very specific to one location (North Side of the Round About); coming from Hilton Hotel, once you enter the round-about make the first right turn that will lead into a construction area; park along the side of the road there. Please no parking near the housing area which is on the opposite side. Thanks

Location: Round-About Structure in Tumon (heading West on San Vitores Road, its at the top and at the end of San Vit. Road..pass Hilton on your right and go up the road for about 1/4 mile, you'll see a white wall circular structure that cars drive around, there is this statue of a man in the middle of the round-about structure;THATS THE PLACE !!!)
Parking: Parking is a bit challenging there, but its doable for everyone. Someone will help direct parking there.

- On September 26th, the Guam Parkour Association (GuamPK) will be holding an activity at the Ypao Beach Park.
The activity is to promote parkour awareness here on Guam. Participants will learn basic technique and conditioning for parkour. Join the fun Guam !!

- Purpose of this Activity: To promote a positive physical activity for Guam. To put Guam and GuamPK on the map. To motivate our people and our leaders, of Guam, to do something "Green" and to show that there are people who actually care about Guam's future living situation...

- Definition - Parkour is a physical discipline that conditions the body to travel from one point to another the quickest and most efficient way possible, using only the physical capabilities of the human body.

Parkour has a large online community all around the world and its fast growing. Guam is not too far behind. GuamPK is in brotherhood with a Hawaii Parkour community, Hawaiipk.com; Hawaiipk is affiliated with a bigger Parkour community,AmericanPK.com. Together we are increasing the positivity that parkour has to offer in our communities.

- Also as apart of the Parkour Awareness Activity, GuamPK will be promoting and participating in Global Awareness that same day. We realize Guam's fast growing population will stress this little island out beyond its limits. So there are certain practices we'd like to promote on that day that are simple and effective: conservation practices at home, recycling, etc,. Little things make a big difference !!
